Publication Plan

Publication Plan.

TitleRevival

Positioning statement:  Bringing back the British music scene.

Frequency of publication:  Monthly

Price:  £2.70

Distribution: Newsagents, supermarkets, gigs, tours and festivals.

Rationale:  The approach of the magazine is very much from perspective of people who listen to Mod/Britpop genres.  We will offer opinions and insights; articles and interviews will focus very much on what the audience want to know and ask, rather than what the music industry would want them to know.

Style: Informal and irreverent style, using humour but not afraid to offer strong comment on events.  The magazine is for all Mod/ Britpop fans and so will use both simple and some challenging vocabulary, following the red top tabloid style of writing and presentation, with short paragraphs and some slang.

Images will be the dominant feature of layouts.
